1) How Singaporeans can be threatened by terrorism?

Peace and stability will be disrupted in Singapore.
The people will live in a situation of chaos and fear, as bombings can happen anywhere and anytime.
Singaporeans may lose their trust with one another as anyone can be a terrorist. So their social coheison is affected.

2) Measures taken by the Singapore government to counter terrorism in regional and global levels.

Patrols in the Central Business District by the GC (Gurkha Contigent)
The Army's Special Forces providing secretarial support to the UN Peacekeepers.
Educating the public about terrorism via campaigns and brochures and exercises.

3) Why is Singapore considered a safe country?

Top-notch security (in terms of both the Army and the Home Team)
Capable leaders who have the foresight to counter this threat.
Most of all, the loyalty and committment of the people in this country makes it worthwhile to defend our homeland,at all costs.
