How Singapore can be threaten by terrorism?- Singapore will be in great danger as we are a small country.
- Singapore's econmic growth will be affected as the number of tourists will decrease, shops closed down or temporary stop business.
- Singaporeans will be in fear which will cause high tension and chaos in Singapore.
- People of different races and religions will feel intolerance and unhappiness towards one another. As a result, destroying harmonious Singapore.
Measures taken by the Singapore government to counter terrorism at regional and global levels.- Singapore works closely with its ASEAN counterparts to combat terrorism.
- Educate public through campaigns such as "Total Defense Campaign 2oo6."
- Police Coast Guard (PCG) stepped up its effort to inspect ferries and other vessels in Singapore territorial waters.
Why Singapore is consider a secure country in Asia?- Singapore is govern by a good government that maintain peace and security.- There are good defense and military force protecting Singapore against terrorism.
- Singapore is always ready/prepare to counter-attack and prevent terrorist attacks from happening.
In my conclusion, we must not overlook and underestimate the terrorists. Thus, we must always be prepare and stay alert at all times for the unpredictable terrorists' attacks. Hence, they are not given a single chance to made it possible to launch an attack in Singapore as we will have counter-attack or even prevent it from happening, ensuring peace and stability in Singapore.
